The payout clock: where the hours actually go
Any answer of the form “payouts take up to X hours” is useless, because it collapses three independent legs into one number. The same 60 000 Ft leaving a Posido balance behaves completely differently on a Tuesday morning and on a Friday night, even though the channel has not changed. What follows is the logic of our payout log — what gets measured, what does not, and which of the three legs a player can actually influence. Individual channels are linked from the payments overview.
Open a Posido accountLeg one: approval
Submitting a request does not send money anywhere. The operator’s cashier first checks that the account is verified, that the same-method rule is satisfied and that no bonus wagering is still open. Our log puts the median at 2–12 hours on weekdays and 6–24 hours at weekends and on public holidays. This is the longest leg and the only one that is independent of the channel chosen. Anyone who wants a faster payout gains time here, not by swapping payment methods.
Legs two and three: dispatch and arrival
Once approved, the payment provider dispatches the funds and the receiving side credits them. Dispatch is a matter of minutes and is rarely visible. Arrival is where channels genuinely differ: an instant forint transfer lands in seconds, a wallet within minutes, a blockchain in 5–40 minutes depending on the confirmations required, while a card refund books over banking days. In practice the total is leg one plus a small remainder.
Median table by channel
| Channel | Total, median | Suitable for payouts |
|---|---|---|
| Instant bank transfer | 3–14 hours on weekdays | yes |
| Skrill / Neteller | 2–8 hours to the wallet | yes |
| Crypto | 1–24 hours | yes |
| Visa / Mastercard | 1–3 banking days after approval | partly, many issuers refuse credits |
| paysafecard | not applicable | no, the return route is a bank account or wallet |
These are medians, not promises. The distinction matters: a median says that half the measured requests cleared within that window, which also means half did not. The framework the operator publishes and the timings we record are two separate figures, and a gap between them is not in itself a fault.
The twelve-hour pending window
A submitted request stays reversible for roughly twelve hours. The window exists as a protection, but in practice it is the most common self-inflicted delay: the player loses patience, cancels, returns the amount to the playable balance and submits again — restarting leg one from zero. Once a request is in, the cheapest strategy is to leave it alone.
Banking days, calendar days and weekend congestion
A calendar day and a banking day are not the same thing. A forint transfer below the statutory threshold settles in seconds every day of the year, including weekends and holidays, so the Hungarian receiving rail is no longer the bottleneck. Congestion builds on leg one instead: more requests queue on Friday evening and Saturday, and the median stretches to 6–24 hours. Above the statutory threshold a forint transfer drops into intraday clearing, which runs only on banking days in several cycles — relevant for larger payouts. Card refunds book on banking days too, which is why they are quoted in days rather than hours.
Why the first payout is always slower
The first withdrawal is not slowed down by the casino; it is when a previously unpaid debt falls due. Identity documents, a proof of address no older than 60–90 days and evidence of the payment instrument take 24–48 hours to process, longer if anything needs resubmitting, and all of that lands on top of leg one. Clearing it on registration day means the log median applies from the very first request onwards — the checklist is on the registration page. Larger accumulated turnover can also trigger a source-of-funds request, and if a request stalls beyond the published framework, the escalation path is set out under complaints.
The six ways a payout stalls
- Name mismatch between the bank account holder and the gaming account — married names, missing diacritics, reversed surname and given name.
- The same-method rule: funds return by the route they arrived on until the deposit has been covered.
- No card return path: many issuers refuse casino credits, so the request is redirected to a bank account.
- An active bonus balance with wagering still open, which blocks payouts on every channel — see the bonus section.
- A crypto network mismatch between TRC-20 and ERC-20 addresses.
- An expired or unreadable document that triggers a fresh review cycle.
